My name is Christy Gharbo, and I founded EQUIP™ Learning Solutions after my own 20-year learning and development journey.

Since the beginning of my career in corporate learning and development, I have created, delivered, and directed learning initiatives to help individuals increase their knowledge and skills. As I grew personally and professionally, I discovered I had a talent for recognizing and bringing out the best in others. I developed a passion for cultivating potential, and I increasingly committed myself to helping individuals identify their talents and grow their strengths.

Over time, I devised my own personal formula for nurturing potential: EQUIP™. EQUIP facilitates personal and professional growth by encouraging individuals to:

• Embrace all forms of learning – extending learning beyond the classroom; combining formal training with opportunities to learn from others and through experiences
• Question how they see the world – acknowledging different perspectives and new experiences; recognizing opportunities to grow and increase relevance
• Understand who they are – identifying their natural talents, strengths, preferences, and style; acknowledging their paradigms; defining their mission; articulating their contribution
• Invest in their development – developing strengths within the context of their mission; abandoning outdated skills, perspectives, and ideas; focusing new learning around relevance
• Practice continuous learning – identifying and assigning meaning to experiences; actively preparing for learning; intentionally applying new knowledge and skills

Driven by my passion and guided by the relationship I witnessed firsthand between individual success and organizational results, I founded EQUIP Learning Solutions. At EQUIP, I apply my EQUIP formula for nurturing potential not only to individuals but also at the organizational level. By extending learning beyond the classroom and better preparing and supporting learners, I help organizations transform individual potential into organizational results.
